AzPANA is... The Arizona Perianesthesia Nurses Association. We are a non-profit organization which is a state component of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses ( ASPAN ).
AzPANA's Mission is... to serve as a perianesthesia nursing resource to advance nursing practice within the community through professional and educational opportunities.

Bylaws
AzPANA's Bylaws are reviewed by the Board of Directors on an annual basis. This year some significant changes have been made in the Bylaws as a result of difficulties the board has faced in recruiting for open board positions. These changes were passed by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors to facilitate the transitioning of the board members annually. Please take a moment to review them and share your viewpoint, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the services to our membership.
AzPANA Eileen F. Dalton Memorial Presidential Award
The time has arrived for you to recognize a co-worker, mentor, or nursing leader who consistently demonstrates the best in Perianesthesia Nursing for the Eileen F. Dalton Memorial Presidential Award. Many of you may remember this as AzPANA’s Presidents Award, which was renamed in honor of one of our past presidents who passed away.
This award is open to all active AzPANA/ASPAN members who have contributed to the growth and development of Perianesthesia nursing through service to our organization. The nominating form and criteria for submission are included for your convenience.
The deadline for submission of all nominations is January 31st, 2010.
