PANAW Week. Feb 2-9
Greetings AzPANA Members,
The Arizona PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association would like to commend you and recognize the amazing job that you do each day as a perianesthesia nurse. PeriAnesthesia Nurse Awareness Week (PANAW) is celebrated by nurses in our specialty practice throughout the country the week of February 3–9, 2025. The theme this year will be “Perianesthesia Nurses: Innovation & Inspiration”. The American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses (ASPAN), along with local components from all over the United States, will acknowledge all nurses practicing perianesthesia nursing.
Attached to this page is a link to a coupon for 2 scholarship points. This is AzPANA’s gift to each of our members as we celebrate our unique nursing specialty. Scholarship points can be used towards a scholarship award to attend the ASPAN National Conference, for financial assistance with our specialty certification of CPAN or CAPA, or recertification, and a variety of educational opportunities. Additionally, we have a Free, 1 hour Webinar coming up on Sunday, February 2 at 6pm Pacific Time. We are joining with California’s Component to offer the webinar on “I Cried so Hard I Laughed” by Regina Hoffner-Notz. I have had the pleasure to hear this webinar, and I laughed so hard, I had tears in my eyes. I hope that you are all able to join.
The dedication of our board of directors, committee chairs, and members who volunteer their time continues to enable our component to be one of the premier components of ASPAN. Your knowledge and expertise are a valuable resource to our component. Consider contributing your talents towards keeping our component strong by filling out a Willingness to Serve form, which can also be found AzPANA’s website.
